GRILLED CHICKEN BREASTS

Note: We use free range chicken breasts with the skin on. The crispy chicken skin is delicious, and it keeps the white meat from drying out.

Ingredients:

  • Skin on Chicken Breasts

  • Cedar Key Garlic Herb Seasoning

Directions: Season on all sides with plenty of Cedar Key Spice Original Garlic Herb Spice and fresh ground black pepper. Bring the chicken to room temperature for even cooking.

Pre-heat the grill to medium-high. Grill skin side down first for 5 to 7 minutes to sear the skin, then reduce the heat to medium and turn to finish on the second side. Cook chicken to 165° F, but don’t go over that temp or the chicken will dry out. (Use a digital instant read meat thermometer to test for doneness.)

Remove from the grill and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
