Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rice (see Cedar Key Rice recipe)

  • 1 can of black beans

  • 1 heaping tablespoon of Cedar Key Garlic Herb Seasoning

  • ½ cup diced onions

  • 2 tbs. fresh chopped cilantro

  • ¼ cup fresh diced tomato

  • ½ cup Cedar Key Garlic Sauce

 Make rice according to the Cedar Key Rice recipe. Heat up black beans in a pot, add 1 tbs. of Cedar Key dry seasoning.  Divide the cooked rice in two bowls, add a layer of Cedar Key Garlic Sauce (approx. ¼ cup). Divide the black beans and top with fresh chopped cilantro, diced onions and tomatoes and a final drizzle of the Cedar Key Garlic Sauce in a “crisscross” pattern for a beautiful presentation.
